The Judds - The Last Encore

For my birthday Rick gave me tickets to go see the Judds in concert, which was last night. This is probably the newest singers we have seen; we go to a lot of the 60's musicians. It is very customary for me to read from the internet on the way to the event to get some background on who we will be seeing. I did learn a great deal about their personal lives and musical background. However, I was not expecting the emotions that we experienced. Wynona is one of the best entertainers we have seen. I will put her up there near Paul McCartney and Kenny Rogers. She had us laughing one moment then crying the next. She actually got so emotional that she could not sing, so the crowd sang to her. She said this was a first. All the songs were great, but my favorites were "I will Stand by You", "Love can Build a Bridge", and "How Great Thou Art."

Supposedly this is their last tour together. They had not sung together in almost 10 years before they began this tour last year. I have a hard time believing this is the end because: they are so good together, stars seem to always need more money, or they just love performing. Anyway I am glad that I got to experience "The Last Encore."
